This is not a clean boost! The Chorister is an old school treble booster that boosts the mid and upper frequencies - the resultant tone cuts through a mix really well. The single level control allows you to control the level of the boost.

This is not a clean boost!  The Chorister is an old school treble booster that boosts the mid and upper frequencies  - the resultant tone cuts through a mix really well.  The single level control allows you to control the level of the boost.  At low levels there's a hint of overdrive. At higher levels there is some nice breakup and the pedal will begin to push the front of your amplifier.  It is not always nice into clean sounds - stick it in front of something already overdriven - especially thicker tones.

Power is supplied via a standard 9v centre negative power supply only - no internal battery.

  • Silicon transistor.
  • Standard 9v centre negative power.
  • Level control.
  • Filter switch - Controls how much low end is cut from the signal.
    • Many lows cut.
    • Some lows cut. 
    • Not many lows cut.

    Notable users whose sound was shaped by a treble booster include Rory Gallagher, Brian May, Tony Iommi, Marc Bolan and Billy Gibbons.

    Note:  If you order when out of stock, items can take 3-4 weeks to arrive.  This is because we hand build our pedals in small batches.

      This is a delivery to door service which means you shouldn't be involved in the delivery process other than being at the delivery address to sign for parcel. Note: some countries require the recipient to have ID available at the time of delivery. Please check with your local customs office for details. 

      Please note that such charges can be changed without notice by the importing country.  Dragon Pedals endeavours to ensure that all charges are covered but in some circumstances some additional charges may apply.  Please be aware that YOU will be responsible for such charges. At the time of writing this has only ever involved the USA.
