The Ember Boost, from Dragon Pedals, is an op-amp based clean boost designed to do one thing well: give your signal a push.

The Ember Boost uses an op-amp circuit to deliver up to +26dB of clean gain, pushing your amp or driving your pedals harder.  Alternatively, use it at the end of your chain to simply make things louder.  Because it's a true clean boost, your core tone stays intact: no added colouration, no compression artifacts, just more of what you already have.  However, there's a lot of gain here so your amp or other pedals could/will break up if pushed hard enough.

Overview

The Ember Boost, from Dragon Pedals, is an op-amp based clean boost designed to do one thing well: give your signal a push.

Simple Control Layout A single potentiometer gives you full full control:

  • Boost:  boost range +1dB to +26dB 
  • Top-mounted jacks — keeps your pedalboard footprint smaller.

  • Standard 9V DC centre-negative power — works with virtually every power supply on the market, right alongside the rest of your pedals
