The B.O.G. fuzz is a classic.
During '69 & '70, Jimi Hendrix gave some great live appearances - Live at Woodstock, Live at Berkeley, and Live at the Fillmore East. Legend has it that at these gigs he used a mysterious red fuzz box with white knobs. However, this fuzz sounded significantly different to the Fuzz Face pedals in Jimi's arsenal.
The original pedal itself is long gone and so is the circuit schematic, but the circuit was possibly the Octavio circuit with the octave function removed.
This pedal is the Dragon Pedals take on the mysterious Hendrix pedal, using our choice of transistors and some of our own mods to help bring out the very best in this design.
Always remember that using the old-school technique of controlling the level of fuzz via your guitar's volume control opens up a wide range of tones.
Power is supplied via a standard 9v centre negative power supply only - no internal battery.
